Kids' Crossroads with Paul Butler

Kids Crossroads is a program specially designed for the younger members of your family aged between 5 and 12 years of age. The show goes on-air every Monday from 5-7 PM on wfdu.fm. You can tune-in to iHeartradio.

Paul, the show host, first began in radio as an engineer/part time host at WHLC Lehman College in Bronx, NY from 1971 to 1974. In the 80s, as a WFDU-FM listener. He enjoyed the Music America mix and thought that children needed their own place to hear Folk, Zydeco, Country, Bluegrass, Blues and World music from a kids' point of view.

When the program began, Paul had two daughters, 6 and 4 years old at the time, to inspire him. He now has 9 grandchildren, many of whom have co hosted over the years.

Alyssa Joy, the co-host of the show is a Senior at Lehman H. S. in the Bronx. She is a former co-host of IP for 10 years. Her hobbies include pro-wrestling, playing football, listening to all types of music and writing. She writes poems and wishes to travel to Paris some day. She loves watching Disney movies and her favorite character is Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. A.J. is the second among her siblings. She is extremely fond of her two dogs Murray Xmas (a boy) and Star (a girl).
